Tanning Bed, questions?

So my question is, will I notice a more tan skin today? Or will it take multiple sessions? Also, how much do tanning booths normally charge for 1 session and lotion?
If not tanning, what are other affordable solutions to keep my tan lasting longer? (Lotions, body washes, etc…)
