Vacation spots in the US?

So, my friend just graduated from law school and she is now studying for the bar and she wants to take a mini vacation (5 days) when she is finished with the exam. As you can imagine money is tight but she still needs and wants to relax. I was thinking that maybe we should go to Atlanta or Miami or somewhere in Florida. I personally love the beach and I have never been to Atlanta. I was in Miami once for a day when I went on a cruise so I really didnt get to experience Miami but for the short time that I was there I loved it! I should also mention that I live in Cali and she lives In Pennsylvania.
