A severe thunderstorm with intense electrical activity and numerous cloud-to-ground lightning strikes impacted downtown Miami, Florida just after 9pm (ET) on May 6, 2007. This footage was taken just southwest of the downtown Miami area looking from northeast through southeast. The Bank of America tower as well as several other high-rise office buildings, condos and construction cranes were struck during the storm.
